As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.

It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.

Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

Another fundraiser I trust!

Oday and his family, including his 7 year old sister, witnessed the unspeakable. His sister's husband's family was bombed in their tent, and they witnessed the bodies torn apart when they went to rescue possible survivors. The shock overtook him completely. I don't think any one of us could survive such a sight, finding our family members torn to pieces by the world's apathy and complicity.

Oday and his family deserve better. Please do not hesitate to donate.

I Watch The News And I See People Swimming To Receive Packages From The Sea. I Swim To Compete, They

Palestinian athletes are forced to compete with athletes who have exterminated, raped and committed genocide on their people because the Olympics refuses to ban the Zionist entity even though it is committing genocide.

Russia was banned for the war in Ukraine, and this is just more proof that human rights only apply to white people or allies of the Yankees (USA)

Ban the zionist entity from the Olympics.

The least we can do is sign this petition to ban the zionist entity from the Olympics

If they not ban it ( they will not), we must do a total boycott of the competition.

[pairing: miles morales x reader]

[warnings: douche bags, slight violence, bullying, rough start to a sweet ending, slightly proofread]

[a/n: hi! i have disappeared for nearly three weeks now and it's bc of life! i somehow managed to meet someone and the past month with them has been really good! life was an emotional rollercoaster and i couldn't really write because i was mostly infatuated and also a wreck? i'm also planning on writing for andrew garfield's spider-man so i may have to rewatch his movies just to refresh my memory. i hope you guys enjoy đŸ«¶đŸ»]

-

You had a history for getting involved with textbook douchebags. From Flash Thompson (a braindead, basketball loving, spoiled bully) to Harry Osborn (a rather good friend of yours who ought to remain just a friend in your opinion.) Flash was one of the worst people to be with. He has a humongous yet fragile ego. He made fun of your fellow classmates who were harmless, including Miles Morales. Miles was a transferee from Brooklyn Middle, which made him the perfect target for a bully like Flash.

“Maybe the broke should go back to where they came from, right?” Flashed yelled as he glanced over at you in hopes of getting your approval. You were all in a classroom, waiting for the next period as your previous class ended early due to the teacher having an emergency at home. You were usually seated next to Michelle, your best friend who unfortunately had to stay at home due to intense cramps. Seeing Michelle’s absence from her usual spot beside you, Flash made it his task to bombard you with mindless questions and insults of your peers. A few of your classmates glanced at your direction, waiting to see your reaction.

With an eyebrow raised you replied, “What are you talking about?” Flash smirked and pointed at Miles’ direction, who was sketching in his sketchbook while music blasted in his headphones. You rolled your eyes. “Just leave him alone.” Flash did not like your response, as he stood up and snatched Miles’ sketchbook. “Hey!” Miles yelled as he made a move to grab his sketchbook to which Flash stretched out his arm to prevent Miles from grabbing it. Miles attempted to grab his sketchbook once more, only to be pushed down his desk. You had enough of Flash and his antics. Standing up swiftly, you walked over to the pair. Flash looked at you intently, waiting for your next move.

“Stop being a dick and just give it back, Flash!” Your voice echoed against the walls of the silent room. You could feel your heart racing as Flash stepped towards you with a glare that could certainly instill fear in anyone. What happened next was a blur, as you were only standing in front of Flash, and the next, you were on the floor with a sharp pain in the back of your head. Your eyes clouded as muffled screams were the last thing you remember.

-

A bright light clouded your vision as you slowly opened your eyes. Sitting up, you winced as the back of your head was aching. “I think it’s best if you lay down.” A familiar voice told you. Looking around the room, everything clicks in your mind. You were in the nurse’s office, possibly due to whatever happened earlier. Miles was sitting on a chair beside you, reading a book with his bag on the floor beside him. “I think so too.” Groaning loudly, you gently laid down on the bed, turning to your side to face Miles.

“What happened?” Miles looked up at you. He couldn’t help but stare at your face. You looked so pretty. With the way you looked at him softly, with the gentle voice you have, he was sure to melt in his chair. “Flash pushed you. I-uh,” He stammered out as he looked around the room. With an eyebrow raised, you asked again, “You what?”

“Pushed him against the whiteboard? And maybe broke that board?” With wide eyes, you sat up quickly as you tried to register it. As the back of your head pulsed with pain due to sitting up quickly, you were forced to lay down on the bed again.

“Uhm. How did you do that?” You asked curiously as Miles felt himself heat up. “I mean, no offense, but Flash is double your size, Miles. How can you just push him?” He felt himself shrink under your curious gaze. “Look, that doesn't matter!” He laughed nervously as you raised another eyebrow at him. “Flash got expelled, and your parents and his parents are in the principal’s office,” Miles told you. Rolling onto your back and huffing out a sigh, you looked up at the ceiling. “I appreciate you standing up for me, Miles,” You softly spoke and paused to turn your head and look into his eyes. “I know he’s been causing you some trouble and I honestly should’ve done better.”

He looked at the floor, unsure of what to say. If he was being honest, Flash did bother him. It bothered Miles that Flash was always beside you, trying to gain your attention, attempting to sit beside you during lunch and classes. It irked him so much that the pent up frustration (plus his spidey-powers) was what caused him to react harshly against Flash. Miles knew you deserve better than that attention-seeking douche. If you gave him a chance, you would probably be swept off your feet.

-

You and Miles never continued your conversation regarding what you could’ve done better. Your parents had barged into the room thanking Miles profusely before switching their attention to you. As a known neurosurgeon, your dad advised that you stayed home for a week at best to heal your head. It turns out that Miles did in fact break the board of the classroom by pushing Flash against it. According to some rumors, it even escalated, with Miles somehow landing multiple blows. You were pretty sure those were made up since you knew that Miles wasn’t the type to act irrationally. Your classmates had all pitched in to send you a bouquet of lilies and a ‘get well soon’ card. Relatives had also sent their well wishes and close friends sent gifts. Michelle even went out of her way to personally give you her gift, a box of your favorite pizza, some ice cream, and a gossip session.

A particular gift stood out. A lone sunflower with an envelope. It was placed on your desk by your dad along with the other gifts and cards. “‘Get well soon. With love, Miles.’” You read the back of the envelope with a smile. Gently opening the small package, it contained a folded paper. You tugged the folded paper before opening it. With flushed cheeks, you stared at the paper. It was a beautiful drawing of you focused on the board. Your hair was a bit of a mess, with a few strands of hair sticking out. Eyes focused as you bit your lip. At the bottom of the paper, in messy handwriting, it says, ‘My sunflower.'

-

You had returned to school after the recommended week was up. Assuring your father that you were feeling fine was difficult. He was worried that you might feel lightheaded or even faint. However, he felt assured remembering that Miles was there for you. Your dad even recommended you go out with Miles as he seemed like ‘a good kid with a good heart, plus he knows how to fight.’ If you were being honest, Miles intrigued you. He was artistic and smart. He was polite and was family-oriented. Miles was a good friend and classmate. And you may or may not have had an eye on him for a while.

A few friends of yours greeted you as you entered the school. Questions of ‘how are you’ and ‘how have you been’ were sent your way to which you replied that you were feeling fine, better even. Your eyes searched the hallway for Miles, hoping to talk to him. As soon as you saw his red bag and headphones, you rushed to his side. A tap on his shoulder was all it took for him to remove his headphones, wide eyed with a nervous smile. “Hey! Y-You’re back!” He stammered. You hummed and gave a small smile, looping an arm around his to pull him as the pair of you walked to your first class of the day.

“So, I received your flower and gift. Thank you for that by the way,” You said and grinned at him as he could feel his cheeks heat up. “But I was wondering
” You trailed off.

“Yeah?”

“Wanna go out for some ice cream after school?” Miles could feel his heart beat faster by the second as his forehead started to swear. You smirked at his nervous state.

“L-Like a date?” He asked to which you responded with a nod.

“Of course! I-I would love to!”

“Great! I’ll go ahead and meet Michelle before I head to class. See you later, sunflower.” You winked before wandering off to meet Michelle at her locker. Miles stood still in the middle of the hallway as people gave him looks of concern. He was sure he was sweating profusely and his cheeks were flushed. “Sunflower, huh?” Ganke’s teasing voice called out from behind him. He groaned in annoyance.

“Shut up, Ganke.”

“Okay, sunflower.”

[pairing: miguel o'hara x spider-person!reader]

[warnings: sweet to angst, mentions of physical fight, blood, bruises, mention of deaths]

[a/n: this has been a long time coming!! i've tried to write these past few days but never really finished writing this but i was feeling a lil sad tonight so i managed to focus my motivation on writing this! i also went through some theories on reddit and twitter about miguel's canon theory bc i honestly question it?? anyway i hope i did the first 'you're losing me' fic justice with this, since i tried my best writing this. hope y'all enjoy đŸ«¶đŸ»]

You were smart enough to leave the watch that was issued to every member of the Spider Society at your apartment. Miguel had been tracking your location only to see ‘you’ in your apartment. He blocked you from creating portals and tracking the location of him, Jess, and Ben. It was for your own good, anyway. He was looming over Brooklyn on a rooftop as rain lightly poured over the city. He looks down at his hand, the very same you returned your promise ring he had given you a year prior. Miguel figured that he’d talk to you after he brings in Miles, that he’ll try to make you understand his side. Miles was a kid, he doesn’t know better. He doesn’t understand how astronomical the consequence of letting his father live. With the help of his suit, Miguel is able to store the ring on the right side of his hip. The hunt for Miles had just begun.

-

You on the other hand managed to get to Gwen’s dimension. A somehow colorful yet gloomy version of Brooklyn. With a few taps on your (much better) watch, you located the apartment complex where Gwen lives. The watch even gave you the exact number of their apartment. Brooklyn was glowing in the dark of the night as you swung through the city. It reminded you of your Brooklyn. A beautiful city that never sleeps.

You approached the rooftop of the apartment and gracefully landed on it. After a quick change (which really just consisted of you taking off your mask and slipping on a jacket you managed to grab before you left your apartment), you slowly descended the stairs from the rooftop to their apartment.

A knock on the door pulled Gwen’s and his father’s attention. It was a long time coming, talking about their feelings, the truth, and being Spider-Woman. “Captain Stacy? I’m uh, a friend of Gwen,” The voice called out. Gwen smiled knowingly at her dad as he stared back at her in confusion. “She said she’s coming back home today and she left something in my house.” The voice continued.

Gwen let out a laugh and quickly opened the door before her dad could do it.

“You came.” Gwen beamed at you. You returned a smile and pulled her in a hug.

“You really think I’d leave you by yourself?” You mumbled in her ear.

She hugged you tighter before pulling away. Her dad looked surprised as Gwen seemed to forget she was in her Spider-Woman attire. Gwen looked between you and her father before exclaiming, “Oh, dad! This is my friend! They have been uhm, a really good friend of mine!” Her dad motioned at her attire. Gwen laughed as you waved at her dad. “Don’t worry, dad. They know.”

-

After a quick goodbye, you gave Gwen the watch you had made similar to the ones issued by the Spider Society. After a few dimension hopping, you managed to assemble a team of Spider-People who hoped to help Miles as Gwen looked for the latter. Gwen detected that Miguel, Jess, and Ben were at Earth-1610 to search for Miles but Miles wasn’t in the dimension. After a quick talk with the team (consisting of Margo, Spider-Noir, Peni, Pav, Peter B. and Mayday, Peter Porker, and Hobie) you were quick to realize that Miles was sent to Earth-42. The group agreed that they should rendezvous with Gwen, but were reluctant at your decision to go to Earth-1610 as a distraction for Miguel.

“What do you think Miguel’s going to say after seeing you’re going against him?” Peter B. asks as you both stand before a portal to Earth-1610. The night sky was cold and you were jealous of Peter’s robe. Your eyes softened as you looked at Mayday looking up at you curiously. You booped her nose and it made her giggle.

“Well, I’m about to find out.”

-

It wasn’t hard to find Miguel. Looming across Miles’ house, scanning if Miles made it home. Silently landing behind him, your heart ached as you stared at his back. It doesn’t even feel like it’s your Miguel anymore. It’s almost as if he’s out of your reach, that no matter what you’ll say will go right through him.

Shakily you called out, “You know he’s not here.” You approached him slowly until there was a reasonable distance between the two of you. The rain pattered on your body as you crossed your arms in front of your chest. You were shaking from nervousness, sadness, and the cold rain.

“I know. I was waiting for you.” Miguel turned to face you. His mask came off, his eyes bore into yours and you swear you could feel your heart drop to your stomach. You took your mask off and threw it in front of him. He looked at your discarded mask before looking at you in confusion.

“I’m sorry it had to end this way, Miguel.” Your voice softly said, getting in a fighting stance. You knew you had to help Miles. You would do anything to help if it were anyone in that situation. You owe it to your own father to help save everyone, to help save someone’s father. Growing up without one was one of the hardest things you ever went through. You didn’t want that for anyone else.

“So, you’re ending everything we went through for a kid?” He scoffed as he approached you, You were quick to back up to maintain the distance you guys had.

“Miguel, that is the point! He is just a kid!” You exclaimed. Miguel rolled his eyes and replied, “A kid who knows nothing about the damage he is causing!”

“It was your fault! You didn’t have to create the Spider-Society or replace someone’s identity! Isn’t that the very reason that universe collapsed!?” You yelled, leaning towards him as he looked at you in shock. “That you willingly replaced someone, and continued to do so? That your actions were the very reason that everyone died in that universe?” Miguel could only look at you as his eyes turned scarlet. You knew he was seething with anger.

“And that you, Jess, and Ben, of all people,” You scoffed as you glared at him. “Have the nerve to tell Miles that he doesn’t belong. When the three of you were never bit, right?” You finished. “Oh and your ‘canon theory’ is bullshit. What if that Spider-Person isn’t close to a police captain or doesn’t have an uncle who needs to die? What then?” Honestly, you were shocked at how much you had told him. Truth be told, the things you said were things you kept to yourself for months.

Miguel didn’t know what to say, but he knew you were right. His supposed theory was only based off of most Spider-People, but it doesn’t guarantee that those events happen to every single one. To him, it felt like an attack on him and his ego. That you questioned his every move despite those actions were done to protect you. Because he can’t risk losing you.

-

The next thing you knew, Miguel launched at you. Thankfully, you had your ‘spidey-senses’ and were quick to dodge him. Before you knew Miguel would rather die than hurt you himself. But when he saw your bruised and bloodied body on the rooftop, he finally realized that he let the anger get the best of him.

“You lost me, Miguel.” Those were your final words before you slipped into unconsciousness. He brought you back to the Spider-Society to get you proper medical attention before he had to leave to hunt Miles. Miguel took your left hand and slipped on the promise ring on your ring finger. He gave the back of your hand a kiss.

“I hope you forgive me, mi amor. I’m sorry.”

| August.

| August.

[pairing: miles morales x best friend!reader]

[warnings: sweet to angst, a bit of spoilers since the some scenes described came from the movie, regret, heartbreak]

[a/n: if you know august by taylor swift, yk the pain. it's based off that song bc i was thinking about some past situationships and how for some of them i was just a rebound so... anyway for the you're losing me fic, i'm not sure if i would make a part two, but i'll definitely think about it! anyways enjoy đŸ«¶đŸ»]

You and Miles had met when your family moved into the apartment above them. You were both nine and to be honest, you kind of saw him as weird. When you were hanging out (much to your dismay, you would rather read than be with some boy), he would mumble songs as he drew on the sketchpad he got for his birthday. You, on the other hand, were silently reading fantasy novels that you got for Christmas. Despite your differences, you made quite the pair even going into high school.

Summer had approached Brooklyn faster than you anticipated. It was hot and humid. The air conditioning in your room would not work for some unknown reason and you were stuck sweating it out in your room. You grabbed a folder and used it to fan your face. A knock on your door grabbed your attention before eventually opening. “Miles, you can come into my room, you know.” You told him with a slight edge to your voice. He let out a chuckle before replying, “That’s just rude. My mom raised me better.” You rolled your eyes and stood to the side to let him in. You closed the door behind him as he sat on your desk chair and twirled around.

“Something on your mind, Morales?” You ask him as you sit on your bed cross-legged. You could tell he was nervous. He was looking down on the floor and sort of sweating. “A-Ah, it’s nothing. I just, uhm.” Miles mumbled out. You raised an eyebrow at his behavior. He was rarely ever like this.

“Just what?”

“Well, I was hoping that Gwen would come back and we could go to an art museum.” Miles paused to look at you to which you just stared back at him.

“And what do you want me to do?” You would be sad if Miles asked you only because Gwen wasn’t around. But, time with Miles is still better than anything. You have harbored a crush on him since you guys were ten. At first you were even in denial of your feelings for the boy but when you guys danced at your school’s halloween party, you knew it was over for you.

“Come with me instead? I mean do you want to stay in this heat?” Miles in a know-it-all tone. You rolled your eyes before chucking the folder you were using at his face. He laughed as he caught it with ease, setting it on your desk.

“Is it a yes or no?”

“What do you think, Morales?”

And that was the beginning of an eventful summer. You two were going out together more often than staying in. Everyday was a summer adventure for the both of you. Summer filled with laughter, longing stares, and nightly stargazing at the rooftop. It was the best summer you ever had, especially because you two might or might not have shared a kiss underneath the moonlight. You weren’t sure what exactly the label you guys had. You guys were best friends, for sure, but best friends don’t look at each other that way. They don’t kiss and draw the other on their sketchbook. They don’t take polaroids of each other to keep in their wallets to admire and treasure.

But all things came crashing down when you saw Miles with Gwen that autumn at his dad’s party. You were clutching the sketchbook he left at your desk the last time you guys hung out. Miles looked so
so in love with Gwen. Like she was the life of the party. You had an epiphany. All summer, you thought he looked at you lovingly. But, he wasn’t. It was different from the one he was giving Gwen right now. You knew better than to look through his sketchbook because it was his safe space. He could draw and doodle all that he wanted to help with the stress of life and school. As you opened the first few pages, it was filled with random sort of graffiti art. Flipping through more pages, there were drawings of spiders, Spider-Man, and,

“Gwen.” You breathed out. Tears were pooling at your eyes as more and more pages were filled with drawings of her that you were sure he drew over the summer. But there was only one drawing of you. The page also contained the polaroid he took of you as you were looking out into the city. You shut the notebook with one hand and wiped your tears with the other. His mom walked over to you while holding a plate of cake. She greeted other guests before she was in front of you. “Hey, what’s wrong?” She asked with concern. She rubbed your back as you tried to prevent more tears from rolling down your face.

“Tía, can you
can you give this to Miles?” You told her softly and handed her the sketchbook. She looked confused but accepted it nonetheless. “And tell him to never talk to me again.”

You left that party without looking back. You weren’t even sure what to say to Miles or his parents. That he made you his rebound? That you were just a summer fling? You locked yourself in your room before your dad could question why you weren't at the party upstairs. You didn’t even make it to bed before you broke down sobbing. You slid against the door and began to cry. Your heart ached as memories of the wonderful summer you had flashed in your mind. You stood up and grabbed your wallet from your desk to pull out the polaroid of Miles’ stuffed face that you thought was cute. You took that picture when he was eating too much cake from your dad’s birthday. You stuffed it inside a drawer because you knew you couldn’t get yourself to get rid of it.

That night Miles kept trying to call you to which you promptly put your phone on ‘Do not disturb.’ You spent hours with a tear stained face and a numb heart. You stared out into space wondering what you did to deserve this pain. But you remembered that, it was kind of your fault too. Who were you to assume you and Miles had something after a summer filled with dates and stolen kisses? You were just his best friend. You were just a rebound. A summer fling.

“You weren’t mine to lose.” You mumbled to yourself as you brought your knees to your chest to hug them. Meanwhile, Miles is stuck in another dimension wishing he could go back to fix the mess he made, to go back to you and the amazing summer you had.

Miguel considered himself a player back in college. Infamous for swooning over girls to try and get them in his bed. At least, that was the rumors. He targeted almost every girl in their major, from freshmen to graduating. His favorite target was you, Gwen Stacy.

You were an only child trying to keep up the appearance that your parents raised a perfect young lady. You rarely went out and only ever had one boyfriend. You were finishing your undergraduate degree in hopes of pursuing a PhD in Biology and to hopefully work for Alchemax, one of Nueva York’s biggest chemical corporations.

It was finals and truthfully, you were cramming almost everything. You had a paper due in a couple of hours and you had to review all of the syllabus word for word if you want to ace your exams. So here you were, in your quiet university library trying to finally finish your undergraduate degree when a certain someone decided to disturb you. You were looking at the screen of your laptop while taking notes with your tablet. A few strands of your hair managed to get itself on the side of your face. You raised your hand to tuck it back in when a hand beat you to it. You looked at your left to see the most annoying and smug face you have seen. Ever.

“Hey. Gwen Stacy, right? Daughter of Chief of Police, Chief George Stacy and Doctor Helen Stacy?” Miguel asked with a smirk. You raised an eyebrow at him before looking back at your laptop to continue reading the slideshow. He chuckled and sat on the long table beside your bag.

“Hard to get, Miss Stacy?” He asked again with another smirk. You looked at him and narrowed your eyes. “Very.”

Miguel let out a chuckle and ran a hand through his hair. “Care for a coffee date?” He asks again. You rolled your eyes in annoyance. What did this human turd want? You just wanted to finish university and get your PhD and start working. He’s just a bother. “No.” You answered sternly before going back to your notes.

“C’mon. It’ll be my treat.”

“...”

“Please?”

“...”

When Miguel realized you weren’t going to reply, he slammed your laptop shut. “Hey!” You exclaimed in annoyance. He laughed and crossed his arms. “Will you answer me now?”

“No.”

“Please with a cherry on top?” He asked again with hopeful eyes.

“Look, Miguel is it?” You stood up and looked at him. “I said no, already didn’t I? We all know about your very colorful affairs and I am not going to be one of them.” You were yelling by now and the rest of the students in the library were looking over at the pair of you. You glared at Miguel and you could see a hint of hurt in his eyes. You quickly stuffed your laptop and tablet in your bag, leaving him by himself as you left the library to study at your house.

-

The very next day, you were woken up by your dad knocking on your door. “Honey, someone wants to see you.” His voice muffled by the door. You groaned and sat up, rubbing your eyes as it adjusted to the lighting. “Who?” You asked tiredly, slipping on your fuzzy slippers your friend had gifted you. “A guy named Miguel.” As soon as you heard those words, it was as if cold water was poured over your head. “Uh, I’ll be right there, dad!” You replied and sauntered over to your bathroom to make yourself decent. No way were you letting that human turd see you as a mess.

After a while, you headed downstairs and saw your father and Miguel conversing in the dining room. A maid placed a plate for Miguel to which he accepted gratefully. Your dad seemed pleased with Miguel. “What exactly are you doing in my house on a Tuesday morning, O’hara?” You spat out rudely. Miguel smiled as you entered the room and sat across from him.

“Gwen.” Your dad warned you. You crossed your arms as the maid from earlier put a plate in front of you as well as a cup. She poured orange juice in the cup as you glared at the man across from you.

“Dad, Miguel and I aren’t even close. We aren’t even friends!” You exclaimed as you tried to decipher why your father decided to let him in. “Well, if you aren’t friends, why did he just ask me if he could court you?”

That morning was eventful. Miguel and your father had been bonding and had even approved of Miguel courting you. Hell, Miguel brought flowers for you and your mom. You don’t know how he even knew your favorite flowers when you never conversed before. You had to pull him aside and asked him what the hell was he doing to which he answered: “I’ve liked you for years, I just want to shoot my shot.”

Somehow, you don’t know how, you warmed up to him. He went with you to Alchemax and was very supportive of your choices. Miguel bought you your favorite chocolates every week, and surprised you with romantic dinners. A few months into him courting you, you made it abundantly clear that you wouldn’t sleep with him until after a year you started dating. He also became your boyfriend that day. Miguel respected your choice and made an effort to give you a secure relationship.

Even after years, when Miguel managed to get his DNA spliced with that of a spider’s, you stood by him. You left Alchemax to work for a pharmaceutical company as you could never forgive what happened with Miguel. You supported Miguel in being Nueva York’s ‘Spider-man.’ You gave him massages, left food for him to eat, waited for him to come home. He was very much grateful for you. He knew he wanted to marry you the moment he laid eyes on you at an orientation of a class you took together freshman year. Miguel only proposed one night after a brutal fight with the Vulture.

-

Miguel stumbled in through the unlocked window of your shared bedroom. He was badly bruised and his whole body ached. The commotion caught your attention from the kitchen and was quick to run in the room. Miguel tugged off his mask and threw it on the bed. When you saw Miguel’s bruised face, you let out a gasp and helped him sit on the bed.

“I told you to not get hurt, didn’t I?” You exclaimed as you ran to the kitchen to get a pack of frozen corn to help soothe Miguel’s swollen face. He let out a chuckle and only looked at you as you held the pack to his cheek. “Jesus, what am I going to do with you, hm?” You asked softly as your fingers brushed over his other swollen cheek. You sniffed as you felt yourself becoming teary-eyed at Miguel’s state. He was badly bruised and you knew he would do it all over again to keep the city safe. To keep you safe. “You should marry me.” Miguel replied softly with a smile. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He shuffled to his nightstand and with a few grunts and groans he held out a small velvet box. You dropped the pack of frozen corn beside him and looked into his eyes.

“Marry me, Gwen Stacy. You’re the love of my life. I knew I loved you the moment I laid eyes on you in Professor Jacob’s class. You gave me a chance to love you. You stayed with me throughout everything that happened at Alchemax and sacrificed the career you built there for me. I can’t see myself with anyone else besides you. Will you marry me?”

Needless to say the wedding was grand. Almost the whole police department of Nueva York showed up to ensure that the wedding was secure. Your batch mates who were genuinely surprised at the pair you and Miguel had even showed up. And after a week long honeymoon in Switzerland, you were ecstatic. But good things come to an end, right?

-

When an anomaly from another dimension managed to severely injure you, Miguel was set on figuring out how to travel the multiverse. And when he did, he recruited every Spider-Men, Spider-Women, hell even a Spider-Car to ensure that anomalies are dealt with accordingly so they couldn’t do the damage they did to you.

As you were recovering from your injuries, Miguel was quick to discover that for every Spider-Man that had a Gwen Stacy, she always dies. It led him to spiral into keeping you safe and he almost always made sure that you call him when you leave the house and get home.

However, despite the best of his abilities, he was unable to save you as the Green Goblin threw you off a clock tower. Miguel managed to wrap his makeshift webs around you but it was too late. Your head hit the ground and you were gone.

Miguel tried his best to move on, focusing on his work and the Spider Society. As he looks at the picture of you in your wedding dress smiling at the camera, in Miles’ world, Gwen was looking at Miles as they sat upside down.

“In every other universe, Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man,” She paused to look into Miles’ eyes before gazing out at the city. “And in every other universe, it doesn’t end well.”

| You're losing me.

- stop. you're losing me.

| You're Losing Me.

[warnings: spoilers! not proofread, brief mention of dying, angst with no happy endings, symbolic breakup]

[a/n: this was just a quick write because i saw an edit of Gwen and Miles with the song you're losing me by taylor swift and it gave me an idea!! i hope y'all enjoy this tho đŸ„č]

As a member of the Spider-Society, you knew you had a part in protecting the multiverse. You had to ensure its safety because you live in it. You love the friends that you made from other dimensions, other Spider-folks. And you love him. Miguel O’Hara. He told you that it was his responsibility to protect the multiverse, that he lost too much to give up. You somehow convinced him that he can share that responsibility with the rest of the Spider-Society. With you. But with the recent events with Miles, you weren’t sure if you could do it anymore.

-

“Is that why you’re here? To let me down easy?” Miles looked over at Peter. You could tell Peter felt uneasy and guilty as he looked away. You looked around the room, a handful of Spider-Men were gathered. Mayday looked scared in her little carrier, watching Miles intently.

“For the last time, why not run it back, huh?”

“Hey, hold on, hold on-” Peter was quick to cut him off. You could understand both sides of the story. Miles just wanted to keep his dad alive, but to everyone’s eyes, it would jeopardize the multiverse. You knew there had to be some way to save his father and the multiverse. Deep down, you doubted Miguel's ideas were true, that there is a way for to disrupt canon events without risking that universe.

“You were right, Gwen. You should have never come to see me.” Your eyes widened and your heart ached for Gwen. You knew that she was doing what she thought was right. It’s hard to make decisions when you’re lost. Gwen was teary-eyed as she watched Miles. You looked up at Miguel beside you and he looked tired of the situation.

The situation was escalating quickly and you were sure Hobie was amused at the scene unfolding in front of all of you. Peter tried to reason with Miles again, attempting to convince him that the death of his father had to happen. That loss is normal, that it makes you all who you are. That we lose people but good things come too.

“You can’t ask me not to save my father,” Miles’ attention shifted from Peter to Miguel, who was beside you. Miles would not back down and Miguel would not try to understand Miles' reasons. He was stubborn and would only want it to go his way.

“I’m not asking you.”

A force field encapsulated Miles and you were quick to face Miguel.

“Miguel!” You exclaimed in disbelief as Peter and Gwen protested as well.

Miguel turned to face you. “You let him leave, and he’ll only cause more damage.”

“You don’t know that! We can figure something out! Don’t do this, Miguel.” You pleaded with him to the best of your abilities.

“I’m sorry, mi vida. You know I can’t let him do that.” He replied with a sigh. Miguel turned towards Peter and Gwen who tried their best to reason with them as well. He turned his back on them.

“Sorry it had to end like this, kid.” Miguel gravely said. “I-It can’t end like this, Miguel! We can figure something out, okay? Please can we just discuss this further!?” You exclaimed as you ran in front of him. He let out a sigh and held the bridge of his nose as he stopped in front of you.

“And risk the whole multiverse? To risk you?” Miguel snapped back at you harshly. You were taken back by his sudden change in attitude.

“I said not to call me that!”

When Miles blew up the force field that imprisoned him, Miguel was quick to shield you from the blast, holding you tightly against his chest. Miguel looked back at Miles who ran out the room in hopes of escape.

“Miles!” Miguel exclaimed, ready to bolt after him. You pulled on his wrist to stop him from chasing after the poor kid. “Don’t do this, Miguel.” You warned him as the other Spider-Men began to chase Miles. “I can’t risk losing you.”

-

After a long chase, Miles lead the whole Spider Society on a train going up the atmosphere. You were quick to follow the crowd earlier with the sole purpose of stopping Miguel. However, Miles managed to escape Miguel by using the ‘Go Home Machine’. Miguel clawed at the force field surrounding Miles as the rest of you stood there in silence. You didn’t even know what you could do to stop Miguel anymore. He was pissed to say the least and when Gwen retaliated, he sent her back home too. You were horrified as Gwen was fighting against the machine, hoping to escape its grasp.

Miguel quickly formed a team of you, Jess, and Ben in an attempt to bring Miles in, to stop him from disrupting the canon event. He waited for you to enter the portal first but you didn't. Instead you pulled Miguel’s hand and opened it up, placing the promise ring he gave you a year ago on your anniversary.

“You’re losing me.”

-

That was the last thing you told him before going back to your dimension. You knew that Miguel knew you were going to attempt to help Gwen or Miles, so you knew that he would most likely block out access to creating portals through your watch. Luckily, Miguel had shown you how he and Lyla formed that watch. With a little patience and hardwork, you managed to create your own. And a couple more. You stashed them in a bag and slung it over your body. A picture of Miguel and you in a beach was perfectly framed on top of the table in the hallway. You grabbed it and with a heavy heart, you put the picture frame face down to hide the memory.

I can’t find a pulse, my heart won’t start anymore.

| Betty.

- i don't know anything but i know i miss you.

| Betty.

[warnings: a bit sad, a little angsty, just teenage love that i will never have, not proofread]

[a/n: i tried to do it in a sort of 2nd pov? i think it ended up pretty good? so... i might also try to write another miguel story? but i'm trying to figure out if it should be smut or angsty ]

All your life, you and Miles have been the best of friends. You were neighbors, classmates, play pals. You guys were never not together, whether it be skating or even going to his Uncle Aaron’s. When you got accepted into Visions Academy, Miles strived to get accepted just so the two of you can be together. His parents supported him in his decision thinking that it would be a great opportunity for him to learn more.

“‘I love you, dad.’” You mimicked Miles’ voice before laughing loudly. You guys were sitting in the cafeteria, surrounded by other students eating lunch. You could barely eat anything since you’ve been laughing at Miles the whole time.

“Yeah, yeah. Tease me all you want.” He groaned and slammed his head on the table. A few looks of concern came your way at the commotion. You stifle a laugh and rub Miles’ back.

“Don’t be so hard on yourself, Morales. It’s the first day of classes! Everything’s hectic, everything’s hard!” You told him with a smile. Miles groaned at the statement and propped his arm up and resting his head on it. He attempted to grab a fry from your plate before you smacked his hand. “Hey, I bought you your lunch. Don’t waste it.” You were quick to scold him and gave his tray a light shove. You took a sip of your Diet Coke Zero before continuing to eat your fries and bacon cheeseburger. “But your fries look way tastier!” He protested and made another move for your tray.

“Miles, I bought the exact same thing for you.”

“Well, stolen food is still better.”

You rolled your eyes. “How’s your first day? Hopefully not as eventful as mine.” Miles asked before popping more fries in his mouth.

“Well, I was late for the first class, then I went to grab some stuff from my locker but clearly underestimated how much time I need to go to the Physics Classroom which was on the other side of the building,” You sighed and grabbed fries from his tray and munched on them.

“Then I tripped going up the stairs, but some guy named Harry helped me up.” You finished and drank from your cup. Miles laughed at your story and his eyes lit up.

“Oh yeah, Uncle Aaron’s been asking about you! He told us to drop by sometime.”

You let out a laugh and shook your head. “I can’t make time this week, Miles. It’s only the first day and I have a lot of things to finish.”

He groaned and realized he had to finish things as well, especially the essay assigned by their physics teacher.

-

“Hey, Miles. Did you meet your Uncle Aaron last night? You didn’t text after you said you left your dorm.” You were quick to approach him in the hallway. “Wait, did you just grow a couple of inches? We were at about the same height yesterday? Or am I hallucinating?” You fired question after question and you failed to notice how each question agitated Miles.

“Look, I-I don’t know either, okay? Stop asking so many questions!” He stopped and yelled. The whole hallway became quiet as they gawked at the pair of you. You were stunned and hurt. “I-I was just worried, Miles. I didn’t mean to-” Before you could even finish your sentence, he bolted out the hallway and left you there. Other students stared at you before resuming whatever they were doing. You sighed and went back to class before you could overthink what was happening.

-

In the past days, it was revealed that Peter Parker was the man behind the mask of Spider-Man. Unfortunately, he passed due to the earthquake that day Miles stopped talking to you. For the past few days, you haven’t heard much from him, only knowing that he hung around a blond girl named, ‘Gwanda.’ His parents reached out to you hoping you knew what was going on with Miles since he hasn’t been talking to them either. They told you that his Uncle Aaron passed and the new Spider-Man was probably the one that killed him.

You figured you’d reach out to him by going to his dorm. You knew his roommate, Ganke, from your chemistry class and asked him where their dorm was. Later on that day, you knocked on the door, seeing a shadow moving around the room. You knocked gently and called out. With no response, you just talked. “Hey, Miles. It’s me. I-I know you’re probably busy there but I hope you can hear me. Something-Something happened to your Uncle Aaron,” You choked back a sob as tears began to form in your eyes. “I think it’d be best if your family told you about that.” You took a shaky breath.

“Miles, I don’t know anything but I know I miss you. I miss how we hang out and laugh at each other’s jokes. How we listen to each other’s music,” You heard a faint shuffle before you continued, “and how you make me the happiest person when we’re together. This is probably going to be the shittiest way I confess but I like you, Miles. I always have. You’re my best friend and I was always afraid I’d lose you if I said anything.” You leaned your head against the door.

“I know you feel pressured from your family and maybe even from me. But your family and I push you to do your best because we know you can do it. You are special, Miles. You have this spark inside of you and it is amazing. Just keep doing you and we’ll support you. We’re here for you, Miles.” A tear ran down your face and you were quick to wipe it away. You sniffed as you tried to hold back your tears. “We don’t have to talk soon. Take your time, okay? I’ll wait for you.”

-

Later on, you found yourself walking around Brooklyn to clear your head. The earthquake caused by the Fisk Tower got you shaken and felt the need to take a breather. You still haven’t heard from Miles. You looked at your phone for any new notifications and the picture of you and Miles on your middle school graduation looked back at you.

“It isn’t safe for young people to be out at night.” A voice pretending to be gruff and deep informing you. You looked up with a gasp. “Y-You’re that new Spider-Man! The one that just took down Fisk right?”

He let out a nervous laugh before continuing his deep voice. “T-That’s me!” You raised an eyebrow and observed his figure. You circled around him as he stood still. “Look, you have to get home before you-”

“Miles?” The lens of his mask grew wide.

“W-What?”

“You remind me of my friend, Miles. He does this stupid deep voice thing when he makes fun of some older guys that annoy us.”

“O-Oh
”

“Unless
” You put a hand on your chin as you began to think.

“How about I just get you home before something bad happens to you?”

-

The new Spider-Man swung you back at the Visions Academy. To say the experience was terrifying was an understatement. You were clinging to him like a baby koala. He made sure to gently land on the rooftop of the building and set you down just as gentle. He stood on the ledge, ready to leave and bid you a farewell, you cut him off.

“I know it’s you, Miles. I can smell your ‘unique’ cologne that I gifted you last Christmas.” You told him. You slowly approached him until you were on the ledge. You leaned against it as he sat down.

“Is that why you were avoiding us?” You asked him softly and looked at him. He took his mask off and looked down at the busy street below.

“Yeah. I was
trying to figure things out. I didn’t know who to talk to
” You let out a sigh and looked out at the city. The bright lights lit the city up like stars in the night sky. The wind was cold and you shivered through your thin sweater.

“I-I heard everything from earlier
about how you miss me and that you’ll support me and all of that..” You were thankful that it was dark as your face heated up. “And how you like me.” Miles finished and looked at you. “I-I meant what I said, Miles. It’s up to you but I understand if you don’t want to talk or be friends anymore after that-” You rambled nervously. Miles chuckled and wrapped an arm around your shoulder. “Don’t worry. I like you too.” Your face flushed red again as you hid your face in your hands. Miles laughed and gently tugged your hands out of your face. He got down the ledge and stood beside you, leaning against the ledge.

“How about a movie date at my place?” He suggested.

“How about we go to the Arts Museum then we watch a movie? Like Back to the Future?”

“Only if you buy pizza.”

“As long as you buy some ice cream.”

“Deal.”

| Midnight Rain.

- i guess sometimes we all get just what we wanted.

| Midnight Rain.

[warnings: mention of injury, angst [but it ends in fluff], kind of sad, mentions of having a family and marriage, not proofread]

[a/n: i'm really sorry if this was bad, i just got back to writing after like a good year or two 😭 miguel o' hara really got me inspired and so i wrote this while listening to midnight rain lawls]

I have always wanted to help the world. I always believed that I’d save everyone because I couldn’t save my sister. When the bridge collapsed and I failed to save her, that very night I vowed to protect my city and the people I loved. Being Spider-Woman isn’t easy and I knew that. I knew the risks I had to take, the sacrifices I had to make. But he didn’t want to risk me.

“¡Dios mío! You could’ve died trying to stop that building from collapsing!” Miguel yelled as we entered his office. My back was turned on him, yet he kept pacing and mumbling how I was ‘reckless’ and an ‘idiot’. I was holding my other hand (the one I had accidentally sprained) thinking of a reply to his words.

“But I didn’t! I stopped the building, I lived, and I saved a bunch of people’s lives!” I replied, turning to face him. He groaned and ran his hand through his hair. Miguel made his way toward me and I stood still. He grabbed my injured wrist.

“And you managed to sprain your wrist, cariño! Did you forget that when you were recklessly swinging and trying to thwip your left hand when you couldn’t?!” Miguel yelled again. He began to ramble on and on. I was tired. For months, he started to grow more and more agitated, hovering over me like I’m some child. I knew the risks and the accidents that were going to happen. This wasn’t the first time I was injured. Why was he acting like this now?

“Look, Miguel, I appreciate you looking out for me, but I know the risks. I am willing to take every single one of them.” I say tirelessly. He stopped rambling and looked me in the eye. “If you’re going to be reckless everytime we go on a mission together, you should just retire,” He softly suggested. Miguel sighed as he cupped my cheek but my eyes grew wide at his suggestion. “I don’t need to lose someone important in my life again. And you, ¡mi vida!, are the reason I continue to live, the reason I have hope in life,” Miguel continued. “Mi amor, I want us to have a family. Wouldn’t it be nice to leave this life behind?”

It wouldn’t. I don’t want a family. I don’t want to retire and settle down, not when I’m at the height my career and my other life as Spider-Woman was just beginning. The mere thought of being tied down scared me. I would want to, but not now. Not in the near future. I removed his hand from my cheek and looked down. “Miguel, I-I can’t.” His eyes were wide at my answer. “What do you mean you can’t?” He asked in disbelief. I walked away from him, towards the large windows of his office at our home. Well, his home now.

“I mean seriously? Y-You want me to retire?” I laughed without any humor and put my hand to my temple. “In the height of my career you want me to have a family and just a few years after being Spider-Woman?” I looked at him over my shoulder. “I worked so hard to prove to Nueva York, to you, and to myself that I was worthy of taking on the mantle of being a Spider-Woman. To prove that I am ready to sacrifice and take risks and you,” I turned to look at him, seeing the disheartened look on his face. “I love you, Miguel. But I can’t do what you want. I know that my time as Spider-Woman isn’t up yet. I want to explore the world and I wouldn’t want to be tied down.” I slowly made my way towards him. I cupped his cheek and made him look at me. I could see the tears forming in his eyes and I could feel myself start to tear up too. “I’m sorry, Miguel. I can’t give you what you want right now. I’m sorry it had to end this way, but maybe you can find someone else that would,” A tear rolled down his face. “Give you what you want.” I finished and wiped his tears away.

“But, mi amor, I-I can’t see anyone else to have a future with. I always knew it would be you,” He said softly. “Miguel, I can’t give it to you. Not right now, not in the near future.” I replied just as softly. “Then I’ll wait, my love. I’ll wait for you.” Miguel reached for my right hand and gave it a gentle kiss.

“But, I don’t want us to end. I love you too much to let you go, and without you by my side will be torture.” He said, looking at me. “Maybe just teach me better, hm? I don’t have to retire yet when I have a hot teacher that will be willing to teach me.” Miguel laughed and put our foreheads together. I looped my arms around his neck as he put his hands on my hips.

“Maybe I should.”
