Pride month is upon us! Huzzah! Include intersex people in your pride celebrations! We are so very invisible, even in queer spaces, do what you can to boost intersex voices this pride month!

We love seeing representation & we love seeing our flag alongside the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, etc flags!

Do not listen to TERFs on issues of intersex terminology, largely speaking, we do NOT like the term DSD.

Try not to use 'AFAB' or 'AMAB' incorrectly. These terms should be used to describe your own personal experiences, not to describe groups of people. Avoid phrases like 'AFAB anatomy' or 'AMAB socialization' when speaking on trans issues, as this excludes intersex experiences & bodies from the conversation. And note, there is no such thing as AIAB! Intersex people are always forced to be either male or female, often with surgery and harmful medicalization, this is a form of intersexist violence.

Use the word perisex (or endosex/dyadic) when you speak about people who are not intersex! The same way you use the word cisgender to speak about people who are not trans. It's important in denoting that intersex people are normal, just different.

I am once again here asking you guys to describe your images. It's really not as hard as it seems, I even have a masterpost with tips and tutorials if you need help!

I get it that you don't have spoons, the skill, simply can't understand some images sometimes or is simply lazy, but I'm asking you to start. Start simple. Text screenshots. Just your own posts. Textposts or tag screenshots. I'm asking you to start.

Because this Pride month, it would be great if we didn't let all of the people who need the IDs out. Once I saw a beautiful post of a pride parade in Gales, and it had no ID available. I felt very happy seeing it, but other people couldn't. So I separated it to describe it and then I reblogged, because I want everyone to absorb it.

I know it's hard, but I promise it's worth it.

Describe your fandom textposts (they are beautiful! a shame not everyone can acess them--unless...), your fanart, the tags you reblog to be peer reviewed, that fun TikTok you embebbeded into tumblr, whatever.

Let's make a more acessible place. We can do that. A lot of folks already started. We are just waiting for you.

I created a pile of cats and then I colored the pride flags into it. Idk, enjoy. Don’t “steal” them ig, but like, you can share them, just don’t say you made ‘em. Whatever, my signature’s on it.
