Sometimes I Fear That I Havent Sacrificed Enough For The Deen, When I Hear Stories Of Brothers And Sisters
😭😭😭
Sometimes I fear that I haven’t sacrificed enough for the deen, when I hear stories of brothers and sisters who left everything in the dunyah for Allah’s pleasure and reward, they turned a blind eye on everything and focused on one goal, The paradise Allah has prepared for the righteous… I fear that the promises I made to my righteous friends to meet in Jannah will never come true, and they’ll wait for me there but not find me, I fear that once my actions are weighed, my neglect overpowers my counted good deeds, which I don’t even know if Allah has accepted from me… I fear that my intentions were never pure and any act of worship I believe was for Allah, I made it instead for the sake of fame and prestige, I’m scared of always being happy and always getting what I desire, what if this a punishment from Allah with which he distracts me from his worship and attaches me to the worship of myself ? I fear Allah and his punishment, but then I remember that as big as my fear is, so is my hope for his mercy and reward, for Allah’s mercy overpowers his anger… oh Allah grant us a death worthy of a sincere pious believer with your mercy, even though we’re far from that, for you are the all merciful upon your lowly servants.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Be devout and you will be the most pious of people. Be content and you will be the most grateful of people. Love for people what you love for yourself and you will be a believer. Behave well with your neighbors and you will be a Muslim. Laugh less, for too much laughter will deaden the heart."

The 6 Fears Of A True Believer
Uthman رضي الله عنه said,
The first : is that Allah the Exalted will take away his iman (faith);
the second : is that the angels will write down things that will expose him on the Day of judgement,
the third : is that Satan will render his actions void,
the fourth : is that the Angel of Death will take his soul when he is in a state of heedlessness.
the fifth : is that the dunya will delude him and make him work for other than the Hereafter.
And the sixth : is that his family and children will preoccupy him such that he neglects the remembrance of Allah the Exalted.”
- [Ibn Hajr Al-Asqalani in, ‘Preparing For The Day Of Judgement’, Chapter 5: “Counsel In Sixes”, Qt.(5)]
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
"There is no day when God sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of 'Arafa. He draws near, then praises them to the angels, saying: What do these want?"
—Sahih Muslim 1348
The Prophet ﷺ said : "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights."
—Sahih al-Bukhari 39
• Make religion easy for you
• Practice Mindfulness and Gratitude
• Make morning/evening azkars your best friend.
• Don't become an extremist
"He who indulges in excess will not benefit from it."
—Prophet Idris
O believers! Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn away from him while you hear ˹his call˺.
—Surah Anfal [8:20]
