Soundtracks for the imaginary movies of my life. They're not necessarily meant to be beautiful, they're meant to tell a story. Like an encrypted message, but better. Also all the beatiful moments of life in between. Only my original content, no reposts.

Day gently goes away
Time to wind down for the week.
Cheese and crackers
Shocking content! Left and right ear hear differently! :)
Was studying the reasons behind different seatings of a symphonic orchestra on stage, and instead learned that our ears hear differently!
Just a sunset in the city
Just a lonely cloud in the sky
The previous track was orchestral, so the next one will be electronic ambient. Time to brew some thick pad sounds!
Uncharted
This orchestral piece began as I was reading "The Ruined Map" by Kobo Abe, but it quickly deviated from its original subject. In the end, it more reflects my fascination with what is not on the maps, all these void spaces which ancient cartographers used to fill with the imaginary dragons. Also, around this time I came across a very interesting band "Polyphia", and was very curious to see how some of their approaches might work in an orchestral setting.
Argh! Suddenly, when I thought the new piece is already finished, the last four bars sound entirely wrong!
Looking for visual inspirations for the upcoming music video!
When I get stuck with my music sitting at the keyboard, I upload the freshly recorded track to my mobile, put on the headphones, and go for a walk - and this always helps. Somehow, I still cannot achieve the same kind of music-focused meditation at home.
Mahler
Somehow I've never paid enough attention to Mahler. Now filling this gap and listening to all of his symphonies, one after another. Still so far 5th is the favourite. Which one is fav of yours?
Something orchestral is brewing up now
New dark ambient track "Uneven"
Dark electronic ambient track in 3/4 and In-sen/Phrygian, featuring Dirtywave M8, Haken Continuumini, Arturia Microfreak, Hologram Microcosm, Zoom MS-70CDR+ and 1010Music Bluebox. DAWless, obviously. Started as a tune in japanese scale, but then shifted to Middle East :)
Hush! Recording in progress!
Small creative mess here :) The new track is coming out very soon now! Finally came up with a name for it, while trying to fall asleep yesterday.
Rejoice!
Something new is coming your way, and yes, it will be 3/4 tribal dark electronic ambient.
It's interesting how 4/4 metre became so ubiquitous that the moment you make something in 3/4 it instantly feels like something ethnic, tribal even.
Trying a new musical instrument here :)
Also on Soundcloud, if you prefer
"Remember Me" is out!
This is what I needed the tidal tables for :) A new orchestral track, inspired by the wonderful novel "The Invisible Live of Addie LaRue" by V. E. Schwab. Somehow this one was very difficult, took about 5 months (!) start to finish. I even managed to complete two other tracks while contemplating giving up on this one. Luckily I didn't, and in the end I'm quite happy with the result, and a nice metaphor for the video.
As the new orchestral music is quickly taking shape now, it's time to start thinking about a nice video for it. I got one idea which I think might work, but for this I need to study the local tide tables carefully first - guess why? :)
