I just think that it would be so neat and on brand for them to do a musical episode of Our Flag Means Death.

Absolutely nothing about why anybody is breaking into spontaneous song and dance is explained, it just happens and everybody reacts like it’s completely normal. Then, in the next episode when they’re not singing and dancing anymore, nobody acknowledges it. It’s just something that happened for an episode and never again.

Plus, getting a dramatic, comedic love duet between Stede and Ed would be iconic.

I want Izzy to find out next season that he misheard the Ed/Stede swordfight and that they never even fucked. I want him to stand there, five toes down, in hell, suffering and bleeding and come to realize that his boss became like this over A KISS. He can't even comfort himself with the thought that maybe Ed was just dickmatized. No, this is far, far, far gayer, sadder, and more pathetic than that, and Izzy's brain would break trying to understand what's happening.
