As hungry as I am for Till content, I am LOVING the attention Sua is getting lately. Since she was the first contestant to go out, we didn’t get to learn much about her outside of Mizi and Sua’s memories in Round 1. Round 7 is definitely going to be some penultimate shit, so I will gladly eat up the Sua content while we’re in the quiet before the storm, and I’m excited to see where these hints of Sua will lead going forward. Even now, she is absolutely crucial to the movement of the story. The ripples of her death set everything in motion and touched every main character arc—Mizi’s loss of innocence, and as a result, her joining the rebellion, which links directly to Hyuna’s arc; Till’s despondency over Mizi going missing, and Ivan’s resulting sacrifice to push Till through to Round 7.

And while we don’t have much on Luka yet, how can he not be affected in some way by Sua’s life and death when everyone around him has been?

All roads lead back to Sua. She haunts every narrative. She’s never really gone.
