Our Queen and King are back! This time we invite you to a Secret Santa to celebrate the end of the year together!

Schedule

October 17 ~ Signups open

October 21 ~ Signups close (11:59 p.m. CET)

October 25 ~ Assignments sent out

December 20 to 26 ~ Works exchange (starts the 20th at 00:00 a.m. CET)

How the Secret Santa will work

🔸 During the signups, we will ask you to write down 3 prompts of what you would like to receive as a gift (ex: Pirate!Leona being rescued by Merman!Vil on a beach, etc) It could be a quick paragraph or a bunch of Ao3 tags.

🔸 Assignment day will give you the name of an entrant and their 3 prompts randomly picked among the whole list of entrants. Congratulations! You will be their Secret Santa! And then, you will choose the prompt you’re going to work on for the end of December! (You can do more prompts if you feel inspired).

🔸 Do not share your work in progress publicly. A Secret Santa is meant to be a surprise at the end of December.

🔸 The work exchange period will start at midnight (CET) December the 20th. You will be able to post your gift-work! Hooray! Someone will be happy! And don’t forget to use the #LeovilSecretSanta !

Y'know what I can't stop thinking about...

Most of the NRC boys discovered their unique magic at a young age. Like, Epel is 16 when he discovers his, Deuce was 16 when he discovered his, Jack seemingly already knew what his was so he probably learned it when he was younger, a majority of the 3rd years and 2nd years already knew theirs. It's safe to say that most of them figured it out 16 or younger, right?

So you know what really pisses me off? The fact that in one of the flashbacks Leona has after his overblot is that some of the staff at the castle were talking about how afraid of him they were.

LIKE LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS FOR A MOMENT! The guards are talking about how terrified they are of Leona...WHEN HE WAS JUST A KID!?!!? Now of course we don't know exactly when this scene took place because there is no confirmed date but the math nerd in me awoke after 2 years and said "hey bitch let's go" so- If Cheka is 5 currently in the game, then the cutscene where Falena and Leona are talking took place when Leona was 15. Since it's already established that he knew his signature spell before his 3rd year and didn't attend NRC until a year after his acceptance letter (and as we've seen, most of the 3rd years already knew their signature spells before their 3rd year) so- It's just a little frustrating to see these grown adults talking about how horrified they are of a kid. No scratch that, it's extremely frustrating. Like it's bad enough Leona was shoved to the side but the fact that people were actually scared of him- It just makes me sad

Maybe I'm overthinking things (I'm bleeding like a waterfall rn so my emotions are crazy) but I needed to say SOMETHING because it just makes me feel so bad for Leona that not only was he just pushed to the side and compared to Falena but people were actually afraid of him when he was a child because of something he didn't choose to have.

' Vil is strict' this, 'Vil is a perfectionist' that. What if I want him to be silly, a lil silly billy? A lil goofball, a goober even? What, then hm? What if I want want him to part take in the tomfoolery and shenanigans? 'but he's not supposed to', this man needs the experience childlike wonder.

I don't care what y'all say, I want to see Vil be silly and goofy for once. I want him to snort when he laughs, I want him to not give a fuck about his image and just have fun.
