Everyone’s all about “being yourself” and “doing what you love” and “don’t care about what others think” until they don’t like it.

Why the fuck do adults and teenagers make fun of children on the internet being children. Why the fuck did people make fun of me for liking something completely innocent.

Why do people always assume when they meet someone and that person says they like- (example) Dsmp, or bnha, everyone always assumes the worst? and those people always hate the people who treat zodiac signs like they can do no wrong, you’re doing the exact same thing with fandoms. You’re judging someone off something completely irreverent to their personality.

They just want to like stuff. They want to enjoy stuff. They want to be themselves like everyone tells them to, but for some reason those same people shut them down when they do talk about what they like?
