thinking about how funny it would be for the archival staff to meet the OIAR staff
Melanie: you could just quit your weird, creepy, unexplainable job?
Teddy: yeah? 🙃
Melanie and Eric Delano: 😐
Everyone these days is trying to commit homoerotic acts of betrayal, but they don’t stop to consider that 99.9999999% of betrayals are governmental
Growing up is actually all about realizing people don’t inherently dislike you and it’s a bit odd to assume they do
funny cat loves being contained
im just a lil fella, why my tummy gotta hurt like this :(
FUCK i want my body to be made of clay so I could mold myself at will. i would constantly be changing myself, never working to look good or pretty or well put together but to constantly change and explore, perfectly myself as i shaped it even if that shape is amateur. it'd be so lovely
I love loving people so much
it’s so attractive when someone shows you how excited they are to see and talk to you everyday
ugh, i feel unwell, i think a messy kiss would fix all my problems
My New Year in Kyoto
(plus new year day dinner back home)
it was SO much fun and I am still sore and exhausted but it was lovely and worth it
i poked my eye
with a q tip while high
and now i will cry
till the end of time
as someone who does use they/them: if you use they/them for people you know specifically don't, i will turn you into my tomato juice substitute for my next bloody mary
it/its pronouns doesnt mean "use they/them for this person if you feel like it" it means it/its pronouns this is non negotiable and i am going to kill you with my fists and teeth
can someone please direct me to good transmasc art. comics, music, books. something not for the cis gaze.
they tried, but nobody likes mormons
they should put more words in the bible
people are so cool, wish I could meet one, but I like that all my friends are fluffy and soft to hold
actually I think your tag is just the same thing twice
"my mom is my best friend" this, "my mom is my cheerleader" that, nonononono, my mom is my weary but devoted henchman. I think a good mom enables us however they can, often putting themselves in a less comfortable spot to do so. she might go "uhuh, sure" when I say I'm starting a new, absurd project that we both know I'm almost certainly going to drop, but you'd best believe she's still helping me source that table saw
i think its funny too hearing how different people regard their pets. some people will go 'oh my cat is my baby' 'my cat is a 40 year old man' dude i am straight up a henchmen to my cat. he thinks i'm here to commit nefarious acts in his name. im here to go 'yeah boss' when he smacks the window because a squirrel is taunting him outside
yeah but when did you start listening to the government
show defiance by doing the opposite: membering, or even remembering
LAME

not cool man. government says I get to dismember you now
As someone who, for a few years, has done tarot readings for people (not for pay though), my take on a good reading is this:
It should be about the person you're reading with.
Which sounds obvious and shallow, but my point is that the cards are secondary. The cards' meanings should not be inflexible, they should warp and fit the person. After all, 78 cards (156 if you count inverted cards) can not describe the complexities of the world in a meaningful way.
But a person can.
When you show them the 3 of cups, and explain the symbology of friendship and creativity, it should be inviting them to share, or at least think of, their own friendships and creative outlets. When you talk about the 5 of wands, you might gently ask them to talk about what conflicts and battles they feel they've had to struggle with, or might be coming. If it's somebody you know, like a friend or reoccurring visitor, touch on things you know were important, see how the cards bend to follow the river that is their life.
It shouldn't be prescriptive. You should be giving railings for people to hold on to to keep their balance, not bars to block their paths.
And using mysticism to give people those railings in such a way that they trust them and will use them, is by no means wrong.
Is it immoral to take the money of credulous fools who seek out a mystics' advice instead of a therapist's? Sincerely, San Fransico Psychic
Personally, I don't think so.
Like, if people wanna pay me for a tarot reading, I really do it up. Half that fiver is for the theatrics, and the other half is for a short little chat.
Sorta people who go to mystics usually have something they wanna talk about, but it's not something they have the emotional tools to know where to start. The goofy theater of magic can be emotionally disarming. It opens people up. Sometimes people want a bit of show and some conversation. Nothing wrong with that.
But if people come to me I'm not going to say like "You're cursed, pay me 60$ a month and I will keep it at bay." That's just immoral imo. I've known too many people that needed to get real help, and got taken advantage of.
Straight up, crying on the floor

and what, go to heaven?
you cant just keep letting people into the kingdom of heaven so willy nilly like this
Well, the goal is to weigh down Heaven with the sins of man, so eventually it will fall to earth. Then we will have Heaven on Earth, stolen from God’s treacherous skies!
