I quite like this. If only things could be this way đ
Tumblr might have fucked up the quality but this commenter is actually so smart. I never would've thought Luka's pupils actually meant something lol -- gold eyes on gold hair is pretty common in animes/aeni etc. (This was a comment on the All-in video, I just wanted to spread it around - Full credit to CloudedGaurdian on yt!)
For their profiles, I like to imagine them as information the aliens give out to the public to get to know them for marketing and such. So that means they were interviewed before hand about themselves, and some alien had to write it all down, which given their answers I can only imagine how that went.
Alien: "So what do you dislike - "
Till: "A l i e n s."
Alien: "Um."
Till: "I hate them all."
Alien: "Uh, okay, so this is supposed to endear yourself to the audience so maybe you shouldn't - "
Till: "Especially Urak; ugh, I can't stand him! I fantasize about killing him everyday; I wish he'd just choke on the air he doesn't even deserve to breathe!"
Alien: *tries not to look at Urak, who brought Till here and is literally standing right there*
Alien: "Sorry, you said you like...toothbrushes?"
Mizi: "Yup! đĽ°"
Alien: "...why?"
Mizi: "What do you mean? Because they clean my teeth?"
Alien: "Well, it's just that's not very personal."
Mizi, completely sincere: "Brushing teeth is a personal activity though? Does someone else brush your teeth?"
Alien: *just moves on*
Alien: "Oh! You dislike rudeness?"
Ivan: "Yes?"
Alien: "Sorry, it's just that your file says you follow around that other boy, Till?"
Ivan: "Uh huh?"
Alien: "Well, his file doesn't exactly make him seem all that polite."
Ivan:
Alien:
Ivan:
Alien: "Uh, well anyway - "
Alien: "So what do you dislike?"
Hyuna: "Hmm, nothing really. I'm pretty chill with most anything!"
Alien: "Alright. Well, Luka is coming in after you so - "
Hyuna, gags a little in disgust: "UGH. đĄ"
Alien: "????"
Alien: "So, what do you like?"
Luka:
Alien: "Uh, what do you dislike?"
Luka:
Alien: "...Any talents?
Luka, immediately: "The splits."
Alien, happy to finally have someone with normal answers: "Oh, you didn't really mention much about what you dislike; what would that be?"
Sua: "Oh, I'd have to say strangers."
Alien: *a stranger, and is now trying to figure out if that was a dis or not*
Sua: "đ" (it was)

If you like House youâre gonna love the spinoff series Apartment about a doctor who cares so so much just being dogshit at helping people
See for a second there I thought this was real and then I went to search it up for like 5 minutes straight
b plot of all fucking time.
In the club freakin it Wilson style
turns out I need to rant about House some more
see I have this friend who hates House because she's a woman with zero patience for asshole protagonists who everybody loves for no reason, which is fine, but then she watched some episodes and came to terrible no good very bad anĂĄlises of the themes in House and everytime I think about it I get mad and ranty but I have no one to rant to
(like this was some three months ago. but my rant-brain doesn't know how to move on)
my friend seems to be under the impression that the core character trait of House (the character) is being an asshole, and that the episode where he talks about his teenage experience of meeting a genius doctor who everybody hated is some kind of badly written origin story of why he decided to be an asshole. which is a very upsetting analysis because of how unkind it is - it only makes sense of you assume the writing is bad
and it pisses me off first of all because that story was an explanation not of why house is an asshole but of why he's a doctor. totally different thing. and the reason he's a doctor is that he found out that doctors and respected even when they are hated.
so I would say House's core trait is not that he's an asshole exactly, but that he is hated. He's used to being hated, he doesn't try to not be hated, he hates himself even, and he genuinely believes that he is only tolerated because of his skills as a doctor. which is painfully relatable tbh.
house isn't just an asshole, he's a huge misfit who has come to the conclusion that trying to fit in is pointless and painful. he's a genius weirdo in too much pain to give a shit. he's chronically depressed but afraid treatment will dull his mind. he's an addict who argues that he needs his addiction to function (up until he accidentally almost kills someone). he's so obviously Neuro divergent that the show has like three separate episodes based around parallels between House and a neurodivergent and/or mentally disabled patient, and in each of them House is seen low-key envying those patients because they are not expected to behave like neurotypicals the way he is which is also painfully relatable. he's and asshole to everyone and he's extra special asshole to (neurotypical) people with physical disabilities (like he has), but he is genuinely kind and gentle to people with neurodivergencies and mental illnesses. also to whores. I think the thing is, if society hates you for who you are and how you behave, House immediately adopts you like a stray puppy, just like he adopts that sick rat Steve.
I was going somewhere with this but I forgot where. might continue rant later
sir you'll have to specify that a little
I constantly think about how most of gothamâs villains actually liked and respected tim because he was extremely intelligent and was probably (definitely) the only thing keeping batman from beating them all senseless on the daily⌠except for the joker. he fucking hates that kid with a burning passion. idk I just think itâs really funny
JUST LET ME BE.
If you fucks actually go through with not voting on your next USA president elections and subsequently lead Trump to power again.
Yes. Yes I'm going to blame every single American for that. Collective responsibility and all that jazz.
Anyway if this post reaches 30000 notes I'll sit down and professionally film a Goncharov movie scene you can send to people who claim it's not real. This is completely serious, I've made movies before and I'm willing to do it for the memes.
Iâm really tired of seeing people broken up into labels of absolutes.
People are not just âgoodâ or âbadâ.
People are not a list of labels.Â
People are complex, situations are complex.
I know, that makes it a lot harder when you want to just write off everything someoneâs ever done as bad â but thatâs not how people actually are, and it would do everyone good to stop pretending they are.
I am tired of hearing about the fear people have in putting themselves out there. And it is a scary thing! Putting yourself out there means subjecting yourself to people who want a really good reason to tear you down, who will jump at the first chance to feel âgoodâ by labeling someone else as âbadâ.
I reject this. I reject the idea that there should be fear in speaking up and talking about experiences and trying to reach an understanding of a situation.
Iâm unhappy to see people spitefully urging others to cut off ties with their friends under the guise of âwell, that personâs just inherently bad, so if you talk to them youâre bad too.â That is fucked up. You definitely have the right to let the friend know you donât want to hear about whoever troubles you, but you do not at all have the right to decide who their friends should be. This includes guilt trips.
Anyway, just try to be more aware of others. Everyone else is a person like you. They might not have the same experiences as you. They might not understand how their words are harmful, or how what theyâre doing is wrong. They certainly wonât if you never tell them.
Most people are trying to be good, but theyâre going to mess it up sometimes. Try to keep that in mind. Even when people do really fucked up shit, sometimes they are trying to do good. âThe road to hell is paved with good intentionsâ and all that.
Nothing gets solved, no growth happens when you put people into a box from which youâll never let them escape.
Yes, you absolutely must be careful about people who have tendencies and patterns that are harmful to you. Sometimes people try to overcome those patterns and they fail, and you have to distance yourself from them: that is the sad reality of life. Sometimes though, they can overcome it. But they certainly wonât if the first thing you do is write them off after a fuck up.Â
Be sincere. Use your best judgment.
